STRONG CONVERGENCE OF GENERAL ITERATIVE ALGORITHMS FOR PSEUDOCONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS IN HILBERT SPACES
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce general iterative algorithms for finding a fixed point of a continuous pseudocontractive mapping in a Hilbert space. Then we establish strong convergence of sequences generated by the proposed iterative algorithms to a fixed point of the mapping, which is the unique solution of a certain variational inequality.
