COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR COMPATIBLE AND SUBSEQUENTIALLY CONTINUOUS MAPPINGS IN MENGER SPACES

Abstract

In this paper, we utilize the notions of compatibility and subsequentially continuity (alternately subcompatibility and reciprocally continuity) and prove common fixed pointtheorems in Menger spaces satisfying implicit relation. Some illustrative examples are also given which demonstrate the validity of our main results. We also present an integral-typecommon fixed point theorem for four mappings in Menger space.
