AN ITERATIVE METHOD FOR A COMMON SOLUTION OF FIXED POINT PROBLEM AND SPLIT GENERALIZED EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEM
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce an iterative method for finding a com-mon solution to fixed point problems and split generalized equilibrium problems of demi-metric mappings in real Hilbert spaces. We are motivated by the convergence properties ofthe proposed method and establish the strong convergence of the sequence generated by ouralgorithm. Additionally, we present a numerical example to illustrate the significance and efficiency of our method. Our results develop and unify several optimization results foundin the literature.
