A REFORMULATION OF J-NEUTROSOPHIC METRIC SPACES AND FIXED POINT FOR QUASI RJN-ϒ CONTRACTIONS
Abstract
This work revisits the existing definition of J-neutrosophic metric spaces andresolves inconsistencies that appear in earlier versions. We propose a more precise framework, called rened J-neutrosophic metric spaces (RJNMS), which simplies the structure of theaxioms and relies on a consistent choice of a continuous t-norm and t-conorm. Withinthis setting, we introduce the class of quasi RJN-ϒ contractions and prove a fixed pointtheorem guaranteeing both the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for mappings ofthis type. The main theorem broadens and unifies a number of results already known in theliterature. To highlight the usefulness of the new formulation, we also provide corollaries andan illustrative example. Overall, the paper establishes a clearer and more robust foundationfor further investigations in xed-point theory within neutrosophic and related generalizedmetric frameworks.
