ON THE SOLUTION OF GENERALIZED EQUATIONS UNDER H{\"O}LDER CONTINUITY CONDITIONS
Abstract
We provide a local convergence analysis of Newton's method for solving a certain
class of generalized equations in a Banach space setting under H{\"o}lder and center-H{\"o}lder
continuity conditions on the Fr{\'e}chet-derivative of the operator involved. Using more precise
estimates and under the same hypotheses/computational cost we provide a ner convergence
analysis of Newton's method than before [5], [6], [9].
