M. Abbas, Safeer Hussain Khan

Abstract

Necessary conditions for existence of common fixed points for uniformly R-subweakly commuting mappings in the context of a metrizable topological vector space areobtained. As an application, related results on best approximation are derived. Our resultsgeneralize various known results in the literature.
