STABILITY OF ISHIKAWA ITERATIVE SCHEMES WITH ERRORS FOR NONLINEAR ACCRETIVE OPERATORS IN ARBITRARY BANACH SPACES

Abstract


We study the convergence, stability and almost stability of the Ishikawa iterative schemes with errors for the iterative approximation of solutions of the operator equation x+Tx = f of the accretive type. A few related results deal with operator equations of the dissipative type. The results in this paper extends substantially the theorems due to Chidume-Osilike [3] and Osilike ([11], [12]).
