ITERATIVE APPROXIMATION PROBLEM OF FIXED POINTS FOR ASYMPTOTICALLY PSEUDOCONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS IN ARBITRARY REAL BANACH SPACES

Abstract

In this paper, we use a new inequality and a new approximation method to study the convergent problem of both the modified Ishikawa iterative sequence and the modified Mann iterative sequences with errors in the sense of Xu for asymptotically pseudocontractive and asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in arbitrary real Banach spaces. Our results extend and improve some recent results.
