GRUSS TYPE INEQUALITIES FOR THE STIELTJES INTEGRAL

Abstract

We establish sharp inequalities and close to sharp, for the Chebychev functional with respect to the Stieltjes integral. We give applications to Probability. Our estimates here are with respect to moduli of continuity of the involved functions.
