ON COMMON FIXED POINT, INVARIANT APPROXIMATION, BANACH OPERATOR PAIRS IN NON-STARSHAPED DOMAIN

Abstract

In the present, common fixed point results for Banach operator pair with generalized nonexpansive mappings in non-starshaped domain of metric and Banach space have been established. As application, invariant approximation results in normed and Banach space have also been determined. These results extend, improve and generalize various existing known results with the aid of Banach operator pair in a domain which is not necessarily starshaped.
