EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS FOR STRONG SOLUTIONS OF THE GENERALIZED MHD EQUATIONS

Abstract

In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of the strong solutions to the Cauchy problem of the generalized MHD equations in the whole space Rn(n ¸ 2) are proved by applying the Lp-Lr estimates based on the semigroup S(t) = e¡t and the method used by Kato [6].
