CONVERGENCE THEOREMS OF ITERATION SEQUENCES FOR ASYMPTOTICALLY QUASI-NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS

Abstract

In the present paper, some iterative convergence theorems of fixed points for asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings are obtained. Our results show that the compactness requirement in recent results of Liu can be replaced by a weak condition. Furthermore, the restrictions for iterative parameter can be improved.
