SINGULAR SEMIPOSITONE NONLINEAR EIGENVALUE PROBLEMS

Abstract

In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions of the following singular semipositone nonlinear eigenvalue problems (NEP). Without any monotone-type assumption, we obtain the positive solution of NEP when lambda in some interval. The result improves and extends many recent results. Our approach is based on the Krasnaselskii's fixed point theorem in cone.
