ON THE ALEKSANDROV PROBLEM FOR TWO-DIMENSIONAL l^p SPACE

Abstract

The Beckman-Quarles theorem states that every distance-one preserving mapping from R^n (2 leq n < infty) to itself is an isometry. Similarly, we obtain the positive answer of the Aleksandrov problem in two-dimensional l^p space, where 1<p<1 and p is an integer.
