ON A FUNCTIONAL EQUATION OF BUTLER-RASSIAS TYPE AND ITS HYERS-ULAM STABILITY

Abstract

In this paper, we will summarize the results concerning the Hyers-Ulam stability of the functional equation, f(x + y)- f(x)f(y) = d sin x sin y, which was motivated by S. Butler [3] and M. Th. Rassias [10]. Moreover, some generalized Butler-Rassias equations will be introduced.
