CONVERGENCE TO COMMON FIXED POINTS FOR A FINITE FAMILY OF STRICTLY ASYMPTOTICALLY PSEUDO-CONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS IN THE INTERMEDIATE SENSE

Abstract


In this paper, we establish a weak convergence theorem for an explicit iteration process for a finite family of asymptotically k-strictly pseudo-contractive mappings in the intermediate sense which is not necessarily Lipschitzian in the framework of Hilbert spaces. We also construct (CQ) method for this explicit iteration process which generates a strongly convergent sequence. The results presented in this paper generalize and extend the corresponding results of [1, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18] and many others.
