CONE METRIC SPACE WITH BANACH ALGEBRA AND FIXED POINT RESULTS FOR T-HARDY-ROGERS TYPE CONTRACTIONS

Abstract

In this paper, we prove some common fixed and periodic point theorems for T-Hardy-Rogers type contraction of self mappings on cone b-metric spaces over Banach algebras with solid cone, by using properties of spectral radius. Our results improve and generalize the main results of Xu and Radenovic(Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2014:102) and several well-known theorems in the literature of T-contraction mappings. Also we give examples as an application of the main result.
