COUPLED FIXED POINT RESULTS IN PARTIALLY ORDERED MODULAR METRIC SPACES AND APPLICATION TO THE VOLTERRA TYPE INTEGRAL EQUATIONS

Abstract

In this work, we prove some coupled fixed point theorems for mixed monotonemappings in the setting of partially ordered modular metric spaces and provide some consequences of the established results. Moreover, we give some examples in support of theresults. At the end of the paper, we give application to the Volterra type integral equations.The results proved in this paper extend, generalize and enrich several results in the existing literature (see, for example, Bhaskar and Lakshmikantham [6] and Mutlu et al. [21]).
