COMMON FIXED POINTS FOR A PAIR OF MAPPINGS IN PERTURBED METRIC SPACES

Abstract

In the present paper, we study a pair of mappings satisfying a new type ofcontractive condition defined on perturbed metric spaces. We prove fixed point result forsuch mappings and give an example to illustrate that it is more general than previously established results. Furthermore, we extend the result to any finite number of such mappings
