SOME RESULTS ON COUPLED BEST PROXIMITY POINTS IN ORDERED METRIC SPACES

Abstract


The main purpose of this work is to prove the existence and uniqueness of coupled best proximity point for mappings satisfying proximally coupled weak contraction in a complete ordered metric space. Further, our result provides an extension of a result due to J. Harjani, B. López and K. Sadarangani.
