FINITE DIMENSIONALITY OF THE ATTRACTOR FOR A SEMILINEAR WAVE EQUATION WITH NONLINEAR BOUNDARY DISSIPATION

Abstract

This paper deals with the long-time behavior of a semilinear wave equation withnonlinear boundary dissipation. By estimating energy function, we prove that the fractaldimension of the global attractor for the dynamical system is finite.
