WEAK AND STRONG CONVERGENCE OF A MODIFIED MANN ITERATION FOR ASYMPTOTICALLY NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS

Abstract

In this paper, we suggest a modified Mann iteration with errors for two asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. We approximate the common fixed points of these two mappings by weak and strong convergence of the scheme in a uniformly convex Banach space under a condition weaker than compactness. Also, we present some comments on Ishikawa and Mann iterative schemes with errors.
