COERCIVENESS PROPERTY ON QUASI-ORDERED BANACH SPACES

Abstract

Suitable notions of lower semicontinuity and Palais-Smale condition with respect to a quasi-order are considered. It is shown that a functional satisfying these conditions has the coerciveness property. The approach relies on a quasi-order version of Ekeland's variational principle.
