BACKWARD UNIQUENESS AND UNIQUE CONTINUATION FOR EVOLUTION INEQUALITIES GOVERNED BY SUBDIFFERENTIALS
Abstract
The main goal of this paper is to prove a backward uniqueness result refering to a class of differential inequalities in a Hilbert space, of the form A, extending to the nonlinear, but only subdifferential case, some previous results due to Ghidaglia. In some special, but important cases, it is also shown that the evolution inequality above has the unique continuation at infinity property.
