QUASI-NEWTON METHODS FOR SOLVING GENERALIZED EQUATIONS
Abstract
We use quasi-Newton methods to approximate a strongly regular solution of a generalized equation. In particular using more precise majorizing sequences we show that it is possible to provide a larger radius of convergence and finer error bounds on the distances involved than before [6], [8], under the same hypotheses and computational cost.
