KERNELS OF CERTAIN DIFFERENTIAL OPERATORS

Abstract

This paper discusses the exponential behavior of solutions to a class of differential equations with countable jump conditions. A class of new operators is introduced, we also investigate the behavior of functions in the kernel of the corresponding maximal operators. The main theorem is applied to the generalized Jacobi equations associated with the linearization of certain dynamical flows to study exponential behavior of Jacobi fields along a typical trajectory.
