APPROXIMATION OF FIXED POINTS OF NEW CLASS OF MAPPINGS

Abstract


In this paper, we introduce two new classes of contractive mappings, which include the class of quasi-contractive mapping introduced by Ciric [7]. The approximation of fixed points for these classes of mappings is discussed.
