EXISTENCE OF POSITIVE SOLUTIONS FOR FOURTH ORDER BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS

Abstract


In this paper, we investigates the existence of positive solutions of singular fourth-order three-point boundary value problems. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of C2[0, 1] positive solutions as well as C3[0, 1] positive solutions is given by constructing lower and upper solutions and with the maximal theorem.
