SOME DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS WITH MONOTONE BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

Abstract

Existence theorems for some second order difference equations with monotone boundary conditions are established. They are the discrete variants of some existence results given for second order evolution equations associated with maximal monotone operators. Applications to partial differential equations are given.
