NONTRIVIAL SOLUTIONS OF NONLINEAR HAMMERSTEIN INTEGRAL EQUATIONS

Abstract

This paper deals with the existence of nontrivial continuous solutions of nonlinear Hammerstein integral equations. The main tools in the proofs are the topological degree and the cone theory. The lower boundedness of nonlinearity is considerably weakened in this paper. Thus the results presented generalize and improve substantially the existing ones in the literature.
