ITERATIVE SOLUTION OF ASYMPTOTICALLY ACCRETIVE OPERATOR EQUATIONS

Abstract

A strong convergence theorem is proved for a uniformly continuous asymptotically accretive operator using the Ishikawa iterative processes with errors in the sense of Xu [Y.Xu, Ishikawa and Mann iterative processes with errors for nonlinear strongly accretive operator equations, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 224(1998), 91-101] in a normed linear space.
