STRONG CONVERGENCE THEOREMS FOR EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS AND QUASI-\phi-NONEXPANSIVE MAPPINGS

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce modified Ishikawa iteration for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of quai-\phi-nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem. Our results are new and can be viewed as direct generalizations and extensions of the corresponding results obtained in [11, 15]. And we give the problems studied in [8, 9, 10, 12] some new conditions under which their results are still true. We also provide some new estimation techniques in the proofs of the results.
