WAVELET ON AX + B GROUP

Abstract

In this note we have determined the Haar wavelet for the "ax + b" group G by using the Meyer's wavelet construction for L2(0, 1): Indeed by using this wavelet on L2(0,1), we can make a wavelet and then by a unitary operator which transferred L2(G) onto this Hilbert space, we can make a wavelet for L2(G).
