APPLICATION OF THE DECOMPOSITION METHOD TO SOLVING FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS

Abstract

In this paper we consider approximate solution of the functional equation y[f(x)] = g(x)y(x) + F(x), in the class of continuous functions. We use the decomposition method for nding approximate solution of this equation. At certain assumptions we show proof of the convergence of the decomposition method.
