ITERATIVE APPROXIMATION OF COMMON FIXED POINTS FOR TWO NONEXPANSIVE NON-SELF MAPPINGS

Abstract

It is shown that under some suitable conditions, a sequence {x_n} converges weakly and strongly to some common fixed point of T1 and T2. The results presented in this paper generalized and extend the corresponding results of Shahzad [8]. The methods of the proofs used in this paper are also different from that of [8].
