MAPPINGS PRESERVING TWO DISTANCES

Abstract

Let E be a real Euclidean space with dimE geq 2 and let H be an open convex subset of E with some additional property. In this paper, we will prove that every mapping f:H->E preserving the distances p > 0 and 2p is an isometry.
