ON THE ZEROS OF DERIVATIVES OF A POLYNOMIAL

Abstract

Let P_n denote the set of all polynomials of the form P(z). In this paper, we show that P′(z)≠0 in the region |z − a| < 1−|a| / n for all P ∈ P_n. Some other results for critical points of a polynomial are also obtained.
